Your 3-floor property is perfect for conversion to a guest house or family home. Because the town is so developed a total move after converting the property into your own space is viable. The locals are friendly, the amenities are aplenty, the surroundings simply outstanding. As well as house, this building also sports shop frontage, you can open a shop once more here (Other shops around are very busy), have it as an office, or have it as part of the house, making it even bigger.

There's plenty to chat about in 13th Century OSChatz. Only 37 Miles to Leipzig, this rather convivially named town lies in the lowlands of Saxony, nestled within the forested regions of the Dahlener Heath and the Wermsdorf Forest. A great connection to the A14 autobahn, you certainly will not need a 4x4 in winter. As an administrative centre for 14 other towns, expect the kids (Should you have them) to be dragging you around the animal zoo (Tiergehege Oschatz), also in town is:

- The Klosterkirche (Large medieval monastery church)
- O-Treasure Park
- The Wilde Robert steam train running over a 70KM route
- Waagenmuseum (Weighing technology museum, going from 1845 to the GDR era to the present day)

Like many preserved towns, the centre of OSschatz is home to the Altmarkt. The Altmarkt with its old market fountain is host to the towns open air market, founded 900 years ago. Modified over the years. The entire town centre was reconstructed in 2003 back to the way it was with a new fountain, sculpture, plants and more. The new fountain features the bird, the dragon, the fish and the elephant, each stands for the four elements of water, air, fire and earth. The town centre is a pedestrian zone now, during the long summers the town centre is alive with families enjoying this wonderful town.

For your first visit, you should take a tour of the town. Local expert Johanna Sophia Lochmann takes visitors on a 1.5 Hour tour. The tour begins at the enchanting Altmarkt, after which you gradually get to see more of the town. The historical centre has been restored including the "Burgher houses" which you can explore freely. At the end of the tour, "Gasthaus Zum Schwan" is the perfect place to relax in one of the oldest Saxon inns of Germany. The Oschatz information tour is a great way to get to know this extraordinary town.

For kids, there is a large boating pond, huge park and brand new crazy golf course. For shoppers, you won’t need to leave town for anything, from clothes to groceries you are spoilt for choice right here.

One more attraction in this fabulous town simply must be mentioned. The Thomas-Müntzer-Haus Oschatz (See image). In addition to cultural events such as concerts, audio-visual events and other entertainment programs, Thomas-Müntzer-Haus also offers visitors the chance to see some impressive dance events. It has a state-of-the-art stage, event and top of the range presentation technology in five impressive rooms (Great Hall, Small Hall, Gallery, St Aegidian View and Altmarktblick). The Thomas-Müntzer-Haus is perfect for events and meetings with up to 435 participants. The huge foyer is 280m².
